Scientific Writing Workshop

During the congress, a very important workshop dealing with scientific writing, will be held. The workshop will be presented by Prof. Michael Heinrich, Centre for Pharmacognosy and Phytotherapy , UCL School of Pharmacy, University of London United Kingdom .

Scientific publishing is, of course, a core activity of all scientists. In this workshop we will highlight both good practices in terms of how to write a scientific contribution but also discuss common problems and misunderstandings about scientific publishing. The workshop will include practical tips for how to write a manuscript, common reasons for rejection, and ethical aspects of publishing. It will also highlight specifically what the editors and publishers of a journal like the Journal of Ethnopharmacology strive to and it will provide practical tips helping authors to publish world-class papers.

Master , PhD students and young researchers who have their PhD certificates no later than five years ago and submitted their abstracts to the congress , are the only legible persons to apply for this workshop.
